Спросил у продавца про чип, но не совсем понял ответ

dear,our V1.5 scanners are using PIC18F25K80 chips.
both 25k80 and 2480 chips are produced by "Microchip",both of them are for V1.5 scanners,

and 25k80 and 2480 support the same protocols, you can not feel any difference between them.

we have 2480 scanners, it looks the same as this one, but more expansive ,about 11USD/piece.the demand is very low, we don't have stock of them, so we only product them for big orders
