Apart from the cosmetic upgrades, the SUV has also received mechanical update in the form an AMT version. For the Indian market, Renault ditched the dual-clutch six-speed auto tranny for a more viable Easy-R 6-speed automated manual tramnsmission (AMT). Besides being viable, the transmission is frugal in monetary terms. The AMT transmission is paired to the 1.5-litre diesel motor in addition to the 6-speed manual.
