Malta goes electric with Renault

Last june, Renault has won a call for bids from the Maltese government, which is seeking to raise the country’s awareness of the advantages of electric vehicles. The government is to acquire ten Fluence Z.E. models and six Kangoo Z.E. vehicles and has committed to rolling out a charging infrastructure on the island as part of a trial operation backed by the European Union.




In addition, Renault and the Maltese Transport Ministry today signed a Memorandum of Understanding on a collaborative initiative to foster the implementation of electric mobility in Malta. As part of that venture, Béatrice Foucher, Vice President of the Electric Vehicle Program at Renault, is welcoming the Maltese Transport Ministry to the Renault Z.E. Centre on Île Seguin island in Boulogne-Billancourt for a test drive of all the vehicles in Renault’s Z.E. range.
